From Saturday 4 until Sunday 26 October 2014, family shows and drop-in activities will be held, where visitors of all ages can set sail and explore the fascinating science of the sea and discover the wonderful world of our amazing oceans.

A series of  ‘meet the expert’ sessions, with exciting talks and hands-on activities, will also take place throughout October focusing on everything from turtles to whales, and much more!

Rebecca Erskine, Exhibition and Community Engagement Manager said, “The Oceans are home to some of the most amazing creatures on earth, but at the moment they are under threat. If you would like to learn about strange sea creatures like the blue whale or the colossal squid, and what you can do to protect them, then jump on board and join us as we explore our amazing oceans.”

The shows, which are ideal for a family audience, will run regularly throughout the day, from Saturday 4 until Sunday 26 October 2014, and are included as part of normal entry.

More information on the ‘meet the experts’ events will be released in due course and available by calling 01382 228800 or via www.dundeescienceentre.org.uk.
