Inside Outside

They say that the garden is an extension of the home.  However, how many of us look to the outdoors when we require more living or working space?

Whether you’re a professional working from home, a growing family or an elderly couple, you could create the perfect room in your garden to relax, work or play in, perhaps avoiding the cost and upheaval of moving house.

The Garden Bothy Company in Dundee is seeing an increasing number of inquiries from a range of householders looking to maximise their outdoor spaces.

Regardless of how much space you have, the company can offer a range of high-performance, low maintenance composite garden rooms and decking in a variety of finishes.

Taking inspiration from the welcoming, protective bothies common across our countryside, The Garden Bothy Company provides garden rooms, fencing and decking. What’s more, just like the traditional bothies where many walkers take shelter during their outdoor pursuits, they are designed to be durable, sustainable and the perfect fit for their surroundings.

Callum Milne, Managing Director said, “Our garden rooms offer a myriad of benefits, providing householders and businesses with the ideal solution for either work or play. Many of us have plenty of garden space but, with unpredictable Scottish weather, how often do we actually enjoy it? By installing a garden room, you’re maximising your outdoor space even when the weather is less than perfect.

“Since our launch, we’ve been installing bothies for a range of uses, from those requiring a home office, games room or hobby space, to those simply seeking a retreat from busy family life. We’ve even had inquiries from those looking to install a stylish bar and spectacular party space, or to transform it into a home gym. Regardless of what people want, they have one thing in common – they are seeking a space which is separate from the main home, but which allows for a slick and easy transition between the home and garden, aiding a more relaxing and fluid lifestyle.”

So how could we help transform your garden?

Size Matters

We can offer a range of five garden rooms, from the Ben Alder (3316mm x 2316mm) to the Ryvoan (6408mm x 3316mm), with the option of a standard model or with an extended canopy and decking.

Built to Last

We use hard-wearing, durable composite wood to cope with everyday knocks and damage. Unlike traditional timber, composite wood is also resistant to water, mould and algae and durable against UV light.

Our products are also carefully engineered to be adaptable to different spaces and needs. Their construction options, inter-locking joints and ground screw foundation system means they can work in difficult spaces. If a standard structure won’t work for your space, we would be delighted to talk through a bespoke solution. What’s more, to create level foundations, we use the STOPDIGGING! ground screw system instead of concrete, disrupting only small areas of the ground and avoiding disruptive excavation.

Inside Out!

Comfort is key, so all of our bothies come fully insulated and with double-glazed doors. Internal walls and separate / sliding doors can also be added.

Easy Maintenance

We don’t want to add to your workload, so there’s no need to paint, seal or stain our products at any time, nor will they rot or corrode.
The Garden Both Company offers a complete service across Scotland from supply to finished installation and, with our 25-year product guarantee, you can truly relax and enjoy it for years to come.
