Free Event Shines Light on New Build Homes
A free event highlighting the benefits and process of buying a new build home will be held this week.
The TSPC event will be held on Thursday 29 August 2024 from 5:30-6.30pm, with local solicitors, housebuilders and mortgage advisers sharing guidance on all aspects of buying a new property.
Visitors can discover the benefits of choosing a new home and learn about the National House Building Council (NHBC) warranty and how it protects the property.
Angela Wallace, Centre and Operation Manager, TSPC said, “We are fortunate to offer a diverse range of properties at TSPC, from contemporary city apartments to countryside conversions. With several new developments taking shape across the Tay region right now, new build homes can also be a brilliant solution for many.
“With the latest technology and standards incorporated, new builds can be more energy-efficient, meaning cheaper bills and better heat retention, a huge attraction for many. And, if you get in there early enough, there’s often the chance to customise your home, its layout and finish to suit your requirements.
“Our speakers will shine a light on these benefits while also explaining the process of buying a new build, how the mortgage process differs from buying a second home and what the all-important NHBC warranty covers.”
Visitors will also have access to exclusive incentives, available only to event attendees.
The speakers attending the event are Steve Thomson from Mortgage Advice Bureau, Neil Bird from CARA Mortgages, Karen Nicoll from DJ Laing Homes, and Erin Peoples and Joanna Saigeon from Lindsays. Attendees can also register for DJ Laing Homes’ open weekend at Malt Loan, Carnoustie.
